Listed below are questions that we are asked often.

Do you have many DJ's that work for you?
The short answer is no, we have no other employees. Ray and Leah are Razman DJ; period. With that said, we do subcontract events if we are already booked and if the client approves.
What time do you arrive at the venue?
We typically arrive at least one hour before your event.
Do you have business insurance?
Yes, we carry liability insurance to protect our business and you, our client. Many venues even require proof of liability insurance for vendors who work at their site.
Can we make requests?
Absolutely!!! In fact, you have 4 different playlists that you can submit to us before your event.
Do you take requests from our guests?
Typically yes, however the request must be appropriate and fit within your event. Your requests come first, and if you select a song for the do not play list, it will not be played, regardless if one of your guests requested it.
Do you bring backup equipment to our event?
Yes, we always carry a complete backup system with us.
Do you charge for setup and break-down?
No, we do not. Your contracted start time is the time we start playing music. For example if you contract us from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, we start our first song at 6:00 (usually earlier) and play our last song at around 11:00 (depending upon venue rules).

Do you provide music during cocktails or dinner?
Yes, we absolutely do. We'll play anything you'd like us to, however we recommend some light background music that's upbeat enough so that it keeps your guests alert, not falling asleep.

Can we provide music for you to play?
Yes, however rarely do we get requests in advance that we don't already have, or can get. Either way, you are more than welcome to provide us with a CD with the music you'd like to hear.

Do you take breaks?
No, we do not take any breaks. We do sit down for a bit during dinner, however there is never a lag in the music.

Are you available to stay later than the contracted time?
Usually yes, however there are times, especially if you have an afternoon wedding (and we have an evening wedding scheduled), where we can stay later only if time allows.

Do you supply a wireless (cordless) microphone?
Yes, we most certainly do. You and/or your guests can use it for toasts, blessings, or anything of the sort. We also bring additional microphones if needed.

Are you comfortable providing DJ services at same-sex weddings and commitment ceremonies?
Yes, we'd be more than happy to celebrate your special day with you, regardless of your sexual preference.

Do you use party props?
Some folks like party props, and some don't. If you want party props at your event, we'll be more than happy to provide them for you. (When we use props, we don't over-use them, we use them "tastefully".)

How do you dress for our wedding?
Ray always wears a tuxedo (unless otherwise told not to). Regardless, both and Leah and Ray always wear something nice that's appropriate.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. It is, however, only online through the PayPal gateway.

When do we pay the balance?
Balance is due in full 30 days before the night of the event.

Can we come and see you in action at a party or reception?
Unfortunately no.  We do not feel it is appropriate to invite potential clients to our current clients' events. When we are at a wedding, we focus completely on the task at hand, and do not want to be sidetracked trying in "impress" potential clients. Also, since every client's tastes are different, you may view an event and think, "this DJ is not my style", when in reality, we may simply be complying with the wishes of that particular client.
